Skills for Study is a self-paced, self-guided learning tool to help develop your academic study skills. You can work through each module in turn or focus on specific areas.
New in 2024, Sage Catalyst is a collection of eBooks including a range of study skills and research methods texts
Access to over 700 eBooks from Sage, covering Research Methods and Study Skills, Education, Nursing, Business and the Social Sciences.
Module tutors are able to add chapters from these eBooks directly into their Talis Elevate library. Please see the Sage Catalyst Guide.
UoG eBooks are available through Library Discovery. They can also be accessed directly via our eBook provider platforms.

Use the Inter-Library Loan (ILL) service to obtain print books and chapters from print or electronic books not held by the university. The service is primarily for final year undergrad students, postgrads, researchers and academics. Staff and students have an initial allocation of free requests.
