These accounts are available to Nursing and Allied Health courses which have an NHS placement compulsory for course completion.
Accounts are setup during the first semester of a course by the Library. Look out for a registration completion email; there is an expiry on the registration email but you can contact the Library to have it resent.

The NHS OpenAthens resources are to supplement the UoG provided resources. They include a number of clinical resources including BMJ Best Practice and ELfH, as well as access to additional subscription databases that UoG does not subscribe to including Trip Pro, EMBASE and EMCARE. Planet eStream is the UoG Media platform. Content includes recorded lectures and off-air recordings. Most resources are made available to you via links from Moodle sites and Talis Resource lists, but you can also search the database direct.

Completion of specific modules is mandatory before commencing placement. You can complete modules independently of the course requirement if interested.
You will be sent details for an account setup using a 'G' code early in your course. You must use this account setup for your module completion progress to be visible to the HSC Placements office.
Accounts created through NHS OpenAthens or independently can be merged with your UoG course account by contacting ELfH Support.
