Use the Inter-Library Loan (ILL) service to obtain print books and chapters from print or electronic books not held by the university. The service is primarily for final year undergrad students, postgrads, researchers and academics. Staff and students have an initial allocation of free requests. Print books for social work and social care courses are held in the library at Oxstalls campus. You will find them on the second floor in the Sport Exercise and Health collection.
Each library book is given a shelf number according to the topics it covers. The majority of the books you will need to refer to are kept in the 300s – Social Sciences, but you will also find relevant materials in other parts of the library.
Books held at FCH library may also be relevant. You can request these on Discovery and select to collect them at Oxstalls library.
